Why hello there!

My name is Amy Louise McCabe, and I am a freelance writer, photographer and designer, with a strong passion for fashion, music and travel.

My story:
Ever since I was a child I loved art and design. I was always the messy kid, the one with glue in her hair and paint on her face. I grew to love art and design so much that it became my aim in life to make a career out of it. I studied Graphic Design all the way from secondary school through to University. After three years of studying Graphic Design with Journalism, I graduated from the University of Chester in 2012, ready to make my way into the real world.

Since then I started a career as a Photographer at Sea. Working on board a Cruise Ship allowed me to see the world, and capture it through my camera to take a piece of each place home with me forever. I now share those places with everyone on my portfolio; yours to nose through and enjoy.

I live and breathe creativity; everywhere I travel I search for inspiration for my next photograph, design piece or article. I aim to make a career out of doing these three things that I love most. In my eyes, that’s a life worth living for.

I encourage you to look at my posts, designs and photographs, and leave comments where possible. I appreciate all feedback, be it positive or negative. The main thing is, I love what I do, and I wouldn’t change a thing.

Amy xx

  1. Hi Amy
Thank you for following my blog https://johnwreford.wordpress.com/
Am really looking forward to reading more of yours, especially life on board a cruise ship and being a photographer on board, many years ago this was an idea of mine and I heard conflicting stories of what it was like, am still curious and am sure many people would love to learn more-spill the beans.
    Keep up the good work
    Cheers
    John

    1. Hi John,

No problem you have some wonderful photos so I’m going to be taking a look at any new work you post. I’ll be sure to post more things on cruise ship life; it’s something I’ve found a lot of people are interested in reading about – I guess there’s not so much out there about it.
      Best wishes!
